
Banana bread was the big trend of 2020, but we are bringing it back for 2021 with this healthy banana bread! It’s very easy to make and is also gluten free!
When I say this banana bread is healthy, I mean it. Instead of normal flour we are using oat flour (blended oats) which is high in fiber. Then, instead of sugar I used TruEat’s Premium Sweetener, which has 0 grams of sugar and tastes incredible in this banana bread! It is perfect if you are diabetic or just trying to watch your sugar intake.
However, if you don’t have TruEat’s sweetener, you can use any type of sugar you want. You could use coconut sugar, brown sugar, white sugar, whatever you want. Brown sugar would match great with the flavors in this banana bread, but choose whatever works best for you!

healthy banana bread
ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup greek yogurt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup TruEats Sweetener or brown sugar, white sugar, coconut sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups oat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350. in a medium bowl, mash bananas. Add egg, greek yogurt, olive oil, TruEats sweetener, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Add oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into a lined loaf tin. If you want, top batter with a banana sliced in half length wise. Bake for 48-53 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool and enjoy!
