Smoked Salmon Spread. Just say that 3 times fast.
Guys, its almost Super Bowl Sunday! But lets be real here, the best things about the Super Bowl are as follows:
- the food
- the commercials
- the game
There are the typical wings and dips and such, but its always nice to have a healthy option! And this Salmon Spread is the perfect option!
This smoked salmon was hot smoked, but more common smoked salmon is cold smoked. Hot smoked salmon has the texture of normal salmon, but has the smokey depth of flavor! It is so yum.

Okay and now to the rest of the spread. It is pretty versatile, you can use what you’ve got on hand, but these are all my favorites: cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado, roasted red pepper hummus, bell peppers, white bean hummus, arugula and mixed nuts! Wow what a great list. Everything on this spread is fresh and pairs well with the salmon.
So before this Sunday, find some smoked salmon (can be found at many grocery stores) and gather your favorite fresh veg and nuts! And go Rams!



INGREDIENTS
- 1 fillet of smoked salmon
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 1 small cucumber
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 avocado
- small handful of arugula
- 1/2 cup of nuts
- 1/3 cup roasted red pepper hummus (can be found at Costco)
- 1/3 white bean hummus
DIRECTIONS
The only directions is to make it look pretty.
