Ok if you like rice krispie treats, or honestly if you don’t, you will LOVE these cinnamon toast crunch bars!
This treat uses the same recipe as rice krispie treats, but instead of rice krispies we are using CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH. I promise it makes them 1000x better because they have a bit of that cinnamon flavor.
Ah and I can’t forget maybe the best part! This recipe also uses brown butter instead of normal butter! If you don’t remember how to make brown butter, don’t stress — I explain it below. But if you know me well you know I LOVE brown butter. It gives everything a nutty depth of flavor that is unreal.

cinnamon toast crunch bars
ingredients
- 6 tbsp butter
- 16 oz marshmallows
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch
instructions
- To brown the butter, add it to a large saucepan over medium heat. It will melt and begin to bubble. Stirring the whole time, let it cook until it begins to foam up and you can smell a nutty smell and see a brown color. It should take about 5 minutes.
- Immediately add the marshmallows and cook until they are melted and combined with the butter.
- Take off the heat and add the vanilla and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Press into a 9×13 inch pan and let it cool off. Once it is cool, cut it into slices and enjoy!
