These Parent Trap peanut butter Oreos are the part one of my short series, “Desserts Inspired by Disney Movies!” It was easy to decide which Disney movie to do first. The Parent Trap is easily my favorite Disney movies, and one of my favorite movies ever!
I was obsessed with The Parent Trap when I was young. We had it on VHS and I would watch it constantly, feeling such a magic in it. And the soundtrack? One of the best movie soundtracks of all time. SO, to do this movie justice, I had to make Hallie and Annie’s favorite treat: Oreos with peanut butter. The Oreo cookie is make with a cake mix, which makes them easy to make, but also super chewy and soft. THEN, the peanut butter filling! It has a strong peanut butter filling, but not overwhelming. It’s basically perfect and matches so well with the Oreo! Annie and Hallie were not wrong with the peanut butter + Oreo combo. You have to try it.
