For day 4 of my 12 Days of Thanksgiving recipes we are making pumpkin whipped feta dip! Every great Thanksgiving dinner has to have a couple appetizers and this dip is perfect. It is sweet and savory, and so easy to share!
If you are like me, then on Thanksgiving you get a little hangry while you’re waiting for the turkey to finish cooking. It always seems like whoever is in charge keeps saying “only a few more degrees and it will be done!” but then it is never done. So the best way to deal with these hangry people (myself included), put out a couple appetizers that will keep the people happy! Specifically this pumpkin whipped feta dip :).
ingredients needed for pumpkin whipped feta dip
- 8 oz feta cheese
- 1 15oz can pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- dash of red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
how to make pumpkin whipped feta dip
This dip could not be easier to make. Throw everything into a food processor and blend until smooth! You’ll need to blend it for a minute to get the feta broken up completely, but it will become smooth and creamy. Once it’s all blended, transfer the dip to a bowl. If you’re not serving the dip right away, cover the bowl and keep it in the fridge until you’re ready to serve!
what to serve with this dip
You may want to eat this dip straight with a spoon, but that is probably not the most acceptable thing at your party. Lucky for you there are lots of things that pair amazingly with this dip. Pita chips are my favorite, but you could also do any type of cracker. If you want to do any vegetables I would suggest carrots, cucumbers, or celery!

- 1 15oz can pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder

instructions
- Add the pumpkin puree to a strainer lined with paper towels or a cheese cloth. Squeeze out as much liquid as you can out of the pumpkin puree. It should be more like a thick paste when you're done.
- Add the strained pumpkin puree and all the remaining ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. It will likely take a minute or so of blending to get everything smooth.
- Transfer the dip to a bowl. If you are not serving right away, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and transfer to the fridge. Remove from the fridge just before serving. Enjoy!
