This raspberry chia seed jam is my favorite for all occasions. It is much healthier than standard jam, as it is sweetened by honey, and is thickened by chia seeds. It isn’t overly sweet and you’ll want to spread it on everything!
ingredients needed for raspberry chia seed jam

raspberry chia seed jam
ingredients
- 3 cups frozen raspberries
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
instructions
- Add the frozen raspberries and water to a pan over medium heat. Use the back of a spoon to help break up the raspberries. Add the honey and stir to combine.
- After a couple minutes the raspberries will start to boil. Let the raspberries continue to boil until the mixture has thickened to a runny jam, about 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add the chia seeds. Stir until the chia seeds are well distributed. Carefully transfer the jam into a glass jar. Cover and transfer to the fridge to cool completely.
- Once the jam is cooled, it should be thick and ready to eat. Enjoy!
Guys this is actually so good! I’m a baker and at first was hesitant to make this recipe because I didn’t ever make it before, but it’s so easy and so yummy! Will be making this to bring to thanksgiving dinner and sending some to friends.
yay i’m so glad you enjoyed!!! it can definitely seem weird at first, but its crazy how easy it is! glad it’s making an appearance at thanksgiving!
I am going to try this recipe but I am curious how long you think the jam will last in the fridge! Thinking of gifting this for Christmas!
