This two ingredient strawberry chia seed jam is my current favorite because it is simple, flavorful, and so healthy! The title gives away what the two ingredients are, but it really is just strawberries and chia seeds!
To make this jam, all you do is mash the strawberries then stir in the chia seeds! Then transfer to a sealable container and put in the fridge! The chia seeds act as the thickening agent and make it a jam consistency, making it the perfect summer jam.
My favorite way to use it is on a piece of toast with peanut butter and a little cinnamon!
strawberry chia seed jam
- 1 cup strawberries
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- Mash the strawberries in a bowl with a fork. Stir in chia seeds.
- Transfer to a sealable container and put in the fridge overnight.
- Once the chia seeds are expanded, the mixture will be thick and jam-like. Enjoy!
