
A few weeks ago on my Instagram I declared that this is the summer of smoothies, then I am yet to post a smoothie, UNTIL NOW. This piña colada smoothie is worth the wait and is just perfect for the summer.
Piña colada has always been one of my favorite flavors. When I was 10 my family went to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico and I drank about 15 virgin piña coladas a day. You think I’m joking but I’m really not. I just couldn’t get enough and things haven’t changed! So this piña colada has the perfect flavors and although I will not be putting back 15 a day, I will be sipping on it all summer.
ingredients needed for piña colada smoothie
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup coconut milk or coconut cream
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- 1 scoop of vanilla or coconut protein powder (optional)

ingredients
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup coconut milk or coconut cream
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- 1 scoop vanilla or coconut protein powder optional
instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add extra coconut milk or water. Enjoy!
